Business travelers are tired of apologies when it comes to airport delays, and a new survey reveals that more than 80 percent think airlines should provide a sliding scale refund if flights are late.
According to corporate travel management company Directravel, 83 percent of those surveyed were OK with a 30-minute delay. But for 46 percent, anything over an hour is completely unacceptable.
And business travelers are willing to give a little too, with almost half willing to pay a little more if the airline arrived on time and 62 percent would travel to a regional airport if that would eliminate delays.
