Barry Quinlan, director of operations for the Littleton test facility of Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, has been elected to the executive council of the Telecommunication Certification Body Council.
Bureau Veritas, which offers safety testing for electronics, is considered a telecommunications certification body, which means it can issue certifications for compliance with Federal Communications Commission regulations. The council facilitates communication between certification bodies and the FCC.
Quinlan has been working in the compliance industry since he began a stint at the British Standards Institution in 1982. He joined the Littleton laboratory in 2000.
