Bump Makes Sterling Visit To Discuss Jobs

Suzanne M. Bump, the state's Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development, is scheduled to meet with business, community and education leaders in Sterling Thursday morning.

The "Central Massachusetts Regional Workforce Strategies Initiative Summit" is part of a statewide effort to fill jobs that are in high demand. At tomorrow's meeting, Bump will discuss strategies for filling high-demand jobs in Central Massachusetts and will be accompanied by Northeastern University researchers who will present new data on the region's labor market.

The meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. at the Chocksett Inn at 59 Laurelwood Road in Sterling.
