Natick-based Boston Scientific Corp. has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a new chronic pain management device.
The device, the Clik Anchor, is designed to be used with the company’s Precision Plus Spinal Cord Stimulator. It features a new locking system that BSX says will help doctors be sure that the system’s lead is secured correctly.
Spinal cord stimulation is a technique that uses an implantable pulse generator to help patients manage back pain.
