Natick-based Boston Scientific Corp. has launched a new product used to collect tissue samples around the gastrointestinal tract.
The Expect Endoscopic Ultrasound Aspiration Needle was approved earlier this year by both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the CE Mark system used in much of Europe. The company said it will help doctors diagnose cancers of the pancreas and gastrointestinal tract.
