Former New Hampshire Sen. John E. Sununu has joined the board of directors of Natick medical device company Boston Scientific.
Sununu spent six years in the U.S. House of Representatives and another six years in the Senate. Before that, he was CFO for Teletrol Systems, a manufacturer of building control systems.
Sununu has B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
The company also announced that Joel L. Fleishman will retire from the board.
