The British Beer company opened its doors Monday for the first time at its Shrewsbury Street location.
The location at 225 Shrewsbury St. is the latest for the local chain. This is the restaurant’s first Worcester location and it replaces the short-lived Urban Kitchen that was only in operation for seven months and had itself replaced long-time Worcester favorite Coral Seafood.
British Beer Co., based in Plymouth, is modeled on traditional English pubs. The company already has 11 locations in Massachusetts, including Framingham, Franklin and Westford; as well as two pubs in New Hampshire.
