British author and professor Bob Evans will speak about the European approach to urban and regional sustainability in a lecture scheduled for Monday April 14 at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute .
Evans is part of the Sustainable Cities Research Institute at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. His talk will touch upon sustainability and public policy in Europe. WPI hopes the event will “start a dialogue among Americans” about Europe’s approach to environmental sustainability.
The lecture is free and is scheduled for 4 p.m. at WPI’s Higgins Laboratories at 100 Institute Rd.
