Bright Horizons buys its Franklin day care site for $1.2M

The day care chain Bright Horizons has paid $1.2 million for its Franklin facility at 2 Constitution Blvd.

The 6,400-square-foot center was built in 1993 and was last assessed by the Town of Franklin at $693,000. Bright Horizons bought the site from Ruscito Brothers, an entity registered to Antonio and Grimoaldo Ruscito of Stoughton. The sale closed Oct. 13.

The Franklin Bright Horizons is one of 42 in Massachusetts for the Watertown-based chain, which has locations in 38 states, as well as the Netherlands and United Kingdom.

Ruscito Brothers bought the site in 2009 for $670,000.
