Magic Treasures, a Fitchburg-based business focused on alternative health care, received a $10,000 loan from the North Central Massachusetts Development Corp. of Fitchburg.

The loan follows matching $10,000 in funding from the City of Fitchburg as part of its North of Main program. It will create two new jobs at the business: one full-time and one part-time.

The company, founded by Keila Jardim in 2020, specializes in crystals and other novelty gift items with the intent of improving health. Jardim came to America from Brazil when she was 16 years old.

NCMDC, the lending arm of the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, can provide loans to small businesses up to $250,000, as part of its relationship with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
