A 1.1-acre commercial property at 1034 Massachusetts Ave. in Boxborough sold to an entity registered to Robert Aurellano, owner of Montenegro Landscape Corp., for $1.9 million, according to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
Montenegro Landscape Corp., which is registered in Waltham with a location in Stow, could not be reached for comment Wednesday morning.
The sellers were Kerstin and Neil Phaneuf, owners of Lawn Barber Inc. at that property’s address. Phaneuf didn’t immediately respond to a Wednesday voicemail seeking to find out plans for the business. A property sale does not necessarily indicate the sale, closure, or relocation of a business.
The Phaneufs purchased the property in 2005 for $625,000. The Town of Boxborough assesses the property at $416,100.
