An industrial building on Codman Hill Road in Boxborough has been sold for just under $1.95 million, according to O’Brien Commercial Properties of Marlborough, which brokered the deal.
The building, which provides 45,308 square feet of flex space at 330 Codman Hill Rd., just off the southbound side of Interstate 495 between exits 28 and 27, was sold to Sweeney Properties 330 LLC, according to a statement from O’Brien, which represented Sweeney. The seller was Boxcod Trust, according to the South Middlesex registry of deeds.
More than half the building will be occupied by Sweeney Drywall Finishes Corp., a third-generation, family-owned company founded in 1947. According to the company website, its clients have included University of Massachusetts Boston, Salem State University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
O’Brien said it will market the remaining 21,000 square feet of unoccupied space, which will be leased.
