Needham-based Bowdoin Construction Corp. has named Rod Shaffert as vice president and project executive, designating him as leader of the company’s Worcester branch, the firm announced Monday.
Shaffert most recently served as senior project manager at Behan Bros. Inc. in Middletown, R.I., according to his Linkedin, a position he left in January. He is past-president and a current board member for the New England Region of Design Build Institute of America, as well as a corporator of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, where he serves on its properties committee.
According to Bowdoin, Shaffert has more than 35 years of construction experience, with 30 of those years spent working in Central and Western Massachusetts.
Bowdoin, founded in 1973, maintains offices in Needham Heights, Worcester and East Berlin, Conn.
