A cannabis company with a MetroWest medical facility officially has the "best grass in Mass."
Bountiful Farms, an independent cannabis cultivator with a medical dispensary in Natick and recreational product sold through several different retail partners, has won first place in the flower category at the Massachusetts Cultivator's Cup, which took place in Worcester over Labor Day weekend.
This is the second year Bountiful Farms has won the "best in show" award in the blind-tasting competition judged by consumers, the company said.
It took first place in the cannabis flower category for its "slap and tickle" strain, a year after winning the cup for its "pina grande" strain. It also won second place in the solventless category for its "Colorado chem" as well as second place in the vape category for its "papaya cake."
