An entity registered in Sharon has paid more than $1.7 million to buy Fitchburg's Country Plaza, a two-building shopping center at the southern end of Ashby State Road.
Country Plaza includes the restaurant Country Pizza, an Edward Jones financial advising office, Mattress By Appointment, the Chinese restaurant Gold Bowl, and Shade and Light Tattoo Studio. It totals 15,170 square feet of retail space.
The buyer is a limited liability corporation registered to Athanasia, George and Konstantina Botsaris of Sharon. The seller was I-B-4 Realty Trust and trustees Steven Panagiotes and Athena Costa. The sale closed March 18.
The property at 2-6 and 22-30 Ashby State Road was last assessed by the City of Fitchburg at nearly $1.3 million.
