The largest independent real estate company in Boston has been acquired, joining the Sotheby’s International Realty brand.
Gibson domain l domain of Boston operates seven offices in the greater Boston area, and its acquisition follows on the heels of an October transaction where Turner-Pieters & Hazel Inc. of Harvard also joined Sotheby’s. Turner-Pieters & Hazel became TP Hazel Sotheby’s International Realty. Gibson domain l domain will undergo a similar name change, now operating as Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty.
Real estate entrepreneurs Michael Hansen and Larry Rideout purchased the company from Selby Turner and Nick Russo. Hansen will assume the position of company president, while Rideout will fill the role of general manager.
