Eight percent of Boston-area CIOs expect to hire IT personnel during the fourth quarter, according to the Robert Half Technology IT Hiring Index and Skills Report.
According to the report, the 13 percent of executives who said they planned to hire IT staff were offset by the 5 percent that said they planned to cut IT staff. Nevertheless, the net 8 percent that plan to hire is up one point from Robert Half’s third quarter survey.
Half compiled the results from interviews with 200 Boston-area CIOs at companies with more than 100 employees.
Robert Half is an international temporary employment agency.
