Boston Scientific To Buy California Co.
Natick-based Boston Scientific Corp. will buy San Diego-based medical technology company CryoCor Inc. for about $17.6 million.
The companies have been working together since June to develop a treatment for atrial fibrillation, the most common cardiac arrhythmia.
CryoCor's board of directors has approved the deal, which is expected to close this quarter.
