Boston Scientific Resumes All Defibrillator Sales

Boston Scientific, the Natick-based medical device manufacturer, has resumed sales of all of its defibrillators after the company failed to report manufacturing changes to the federal government earlier this year.

In March the company announced that it had not reported some changes in the way cardiac defibrillators were manufactured. The company voluntarily ceased shipments of the products while awaiting approval from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

Last month, the FDA approved the manufacturing changes for two of the defibrillators.

On Thursday, in a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, the company announced that it has received clearance to resume sales of its five remaining defibrillators.
