Temazcal Tequila Cantina, a Boston Mexican restaurant chain, is adding its first MetroWest location in Framingham.
The restaurant, which is set to open next month, will be located at 155 Worcester Road. The location just off Route 9 was formerly an outpost of Papa Razzi, another Boston eatery and is adjacent to a Walmart and Shoppers World.
Temazcal first opened in Boston’s Seaport in 2011 and has since added locations in Burlington, Dedham and Lynnfield.
Tamazcal will join a stretch of Route 9 already home to a Ken’s Steak House, Bertucci’s, Olive Garden, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Chipotle Mexical Grill and another Boston-based chain, Legal Sea Foods, among others.
