Boston-based provider of home-and-community-based health and human services Civitas Solutions has acquired two adult day health centers in Marlborough and West Boylston.
The company announced the acquisitions late Wednesday of Aging Well Adult Day Health Center in Marlborough and Living Well Adult Day Health Center in West Boylston.
Combined, those centers generated about $8 million in revenue in the last year.
The publicly-traded company did not disclose the purchase price of its two new centers.
With the acquisitions, Civitas expands its footprint in Central Massachusetts from one to three locations. It first stepped into the area with the 2016 acquisition of Renaissance Adult Day Health in Worcester.
Those two new Central Massachusetts centers serve more than 600 elderly patients and employ about 100 people, according to Civitas.
“The Aging Well and Living Well centers are great additions to our existing ADH programs in Massachusetts,” said Bruce Nardella, president and CEO of Civitas Solutions. “Both centers have a strong reputation for quality service, and we are thrilled to welcome their management and caregivers, as well as the individuals they support, to Civitas.”
