Boston firm pays $5.5M for Auburn commercial building

19 Technology Drive in Auburn
A Boston property investment company has paid $5.5 million for a multi-tenant commercial building off Route 20 in Auburn.
The site at 19 Technology Drive includes a 51,000-square-foot building that's home to the manufacturer Accelerated Media Technologies and the agricultural products provider Harrell's.
The new owner is AEW, a property investment company that has local offices in Boston as well as 14 others in Los Angeles, Asia and Europe. The seller is another Boston firm, Albany Road Real Estate Partners.
The sale closed Nov. 12. The site, which was last assessed by the Town of Auburn at $3 million, last sold in 2015 for just under $3.3 million.
