Audio technology company Bose Corp. has completed a long-term extension of its lease in Westborough.
The Framingham-based company last month renewed its lease of 251,000 square feet of space at 9 Technology Drive, said J.R. McDonald, an executive vice president with broker Cushman & Wakefield. The building is owned by Columbia Property Trust, McDonald said.
Bose occupies three-quarters of the building, McDonald said, while significant renovations take place in the remainder of the complex. That work is nearly complete, he said.
The landlord agreed to address HVAC issues as part of the transaction, McDonald said. He declined to disclose financial details or the duration of the lease extension.
Bose has been renting space on Technology Drive since 2007, McDonald said. The audio equipment giant also has four locations in Framingham – including its headquarters on Bose Mountain – and a site in Stow.
