Bose Receives Design Awards

Framingham-based Bose Corp. has received a prestigious German design award for its computer, home theater and headphone systems.
The company was presented with the four red dot design awards in Essen, Germany by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design. The red dot awards honor long-term design innovation. Bose's designs were chosen from among 3,000 entrants from 51 countries. One of the company's home theater systems, a portable digital music docking station, on-ear headphones and a computer monitor were chosen for awards.
The council said Bose, "marries technology with perfect form."
