Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store will open a store in Leominster, as part of a nationwide expansion to see the company open up to 20 new stores in 2024.
The new Leominster store will be at 76 Orchard Hill Park Drive, in the location of a former Bed Bath & Beyond store closed in February 2023. The store will open with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 24 and include a check presentation to two yet-to-be-named local organizations, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
This Bob’s location will be the company’s fourth in Central Massachusetts, with other locations in Franklin, Natick, and Worcester. Overall, the company has 171 stores across 24 states, with 27 locations in New England.
Bob’s is the eighth largest furniture retailer in the United States, according to Furniture Today, a North Carolina-based industry publication that covers the industry.
Bob’s is headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut, and was founded in 1991.
