
Alan Osmolowski and William Tarzia, partners with accounting firm and business advisory firm blumshapiro, have been appointed co-leaders for the firm’s new Worcester location.
The two will oversee operations at blumshapiro’s new, 5,000 square-foot office at 100 Front St. Blumshapiro has other offices in Boston, Newton and Quincy as well as Cranston, R.I., and Marlborough, Shelton and West Hartford, Conn. In total, the company has more than 450 employees, offering auditing, accounting, tax and business advisory and outsourcing services.
Osmolowski’s focus is on client tax issues. He is an alumnus of Worcester State University where he  sits on the foundation as a board member of the executive committee and the chair of the audit committee.

Tarzia focus is on accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and treasurer of Westborough Athletic Boosters Association.
The Worcester location is slated to open in November.Â
