In a very tidy convergence of commercial interests, the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will help the Ford Motor Co. promote its new Transit Connect van designed for small businesses just in time for the opening of a new Best Buy at the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley.
The chamber was one of several chambers of commerce chosen by Ford to promote the new van.
Friday, the chamber will hold a promotional event including test drives, at the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley while also taking part in Best Buy’s “Best Buy for Business” campaign. The Best Buy store is scheduled to open next week. “Best Buy for Business” is a division of the retailer dedicated to small business services.
The van event is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
