Westborough-based BJ’s Wholesale Club is organizing its sixth annual Pink Picnics series of breast cancer awareness events across the country.
The luncheon gatherings represent a partnership between the discount retailer and 13 cancer centers. At each event, a doctor or specialist will discuss the work being done at his or her hospital, and a second speaker will talk about the personal impacts of the disease on his or her life.
BJ’s will also sell special “Pink Ribbon” merchandise to raise money for the cancer centers.
