BJ’s launches new desktop site for members

BJ’s Wholesale Club has revamped its website to make it easier for members to research and buy products at a time when online retailing is bigger than ever.

The Westborough warehouse club’s new desktop site lets users order products and pick them up from a store in as little as two hours. Perishable bakery or deli products can be picked up in a little as 36 hours.

The new site, announced Tuesday, also more prominently displays how much customers are saving on BJ’s products, the company said. BJ’s said it is also making “significant upgrades” more broadly to its digital offerings, including increased use of technology in its stores.

The chain, which has 215 stores and 132 gas stations in 16 states, also recently unveiled a new mobile site.
