BJ’s Wholesale Club, headquartered in Westborough, announced on Monday three new executive vice president appointments, which the company cast as part of ongoing efforts to enhance its merchandising assortment.
Among the appointments was Rachel Vegas, who was named executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. Vegas is a new hire from the company, most recently serving as senior vice president of ecommerce merchandising at H-E-B, a supermarket chain based in Texas.
At the same time, BJ’s also announced Tim Morningstar as the company’s new executive vice president and chief membership officer. Morningstar joined the company in 2020 as senior vice president of membership acquisition and loyalty.
The third appointment includes Monica Schwartz to executive vice president and chief digital officer. Schwartz joined BJ’s in 2020 as senior vice president and chief digital officer.
BJ’s said the appointments did not represent additional roles added to the company but did not immediately clarify the predecessors for any of the announced appointments.
