Marlborough bulk retailer BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings has named Anjana Harve as executive vice president, chief information officer.
In this role, Harve will be responsible for strategic leadership related to information technology at the membership-based wholesaler. She will be tasked with improving operational efficiencies and optimizing revenue growth, according to a Monday press release from BJ’s.
The CIO role at BJ’s was previously held by Scott Kessler, who was in the position from May 2017 to May 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. Kessler is now CIO at Northeast Grocery, based in Schenectady, New York.
Harve was previously global CIO at Germany-based Fresenius Medical Care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from Bangalore University in India and earned an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m pleased to have a leader of Anjana’s experience joining BJ’s,” BJ’s chairman and CEO Bob Eddy said in the press release. “She brings more than 25 years of experience driving innovative technology transformations and leading and inspiring high-performing teams. She will play a crucial role in further strengthening our technology to advance our long-term strategic growth priorities and deliver greater value for our members.”
