Bitsteam Inc., the Marlborough producer of software for mobile phones, has inked a deal with an Asian company that will sell advertisements across Bitstream’s mobile Internet browser.
BuzzCity, which is headquartered in Singapore and has U.S. offices in San Francisco, will work with its network of more than 2,500 advertisers to place ads within the Bitstream software named Bolt.
Bolt, an Internet browsing application for mobile phones, is used in more than 200 countries and territories around the world and has loaded 1.6 billion web pages since its February 2009 launch, according to Bitstream.
