Framingham Co-operative Bank has appointed Kurt K. Bischoff Jr. senior vice president.
In his new position, Bischoff will be responsible for deposit operations and information technology management.
Bischoff previously worked for more than 10 years at South Shore Co-operative Bank, most recently as senior vice president of operations and information technology.
Over the past 40 years, he has also worked at Massachusetts Cooperative Bank, Summit Bank and Greater Boston Bank.
Bischoff has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Albion College in Michigan and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College.
He also completed studies at Robert Morris Associates Commercial Lending at the University of New Hampshire and at the New England Banking Institute in Boston.
