Biomass Hearing Slated For Gardner

The state Department of Energy Resources is holding hearings on proposed changes to biomass regulations in Pittsfield and Gardner Friday.
The Gardner hearing is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Mount Wachusett Community College.
Proposed regulations would change the way biomass energy projects qualify for renewable energy credits.
In a press release, the Massachusetts Forest Landowners Association argues that the new regulations are overly strict and "arbitrary."
