The 81,000-square-foot industrial building at 428 Main St., Hudson, sold Monday for $4 million, according to Greater Boston Commercial Properties, which represented the seller.
The buyer was Hs Storage LLC of Burlington.
The purchase price, above the asking price of $3.95 million for the flex building, was the result of multiple offers being made for the flex building, the broker said in a statement Tuesday.
The buyer has several interested tenant prospects, and is also considering re-positioning the asset to a different product type, according to the release.
Currently, the building is occupied by one tenant with the rest empty, Bret O’Brien, president of Greater Boston Commercial Properties, said Tuesday. He said the building, which dates to 1977, has had tenants come and go in recent years.
The building is located on five acres near the intersection with Route 62, just east of the center of town.
Greater Boston Commercial Properties of Marlborough was the sole broker of record in the transaction. First American Realty Inc. was the seller, according to Hudson property records.
