Northboro-based Bertucci’s Corp. will acquire 11 Vinny T’s of Boston restaurants from Buca, Inc. for $6.8 million, the company announced.
Bertucci’s, operator of 92 Bertucci’s Brick Oven Ristorante locations, will maintain the two chains separately from one another. Buca, based in Minneapolis, was paid $3 million in cash for the restaurants, 8 of which are in the Boston area. The remaining $3.8 million will be paid through a promissory note, the company said.Â
The proceeds from the sale will go towards reducing Buca, Inc.’s outstanding indebtedness.
