Attorney Joan D. Beron has joined the special needs planning practice group at Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple PC.
She will work at the firm’s Framingham office, concentrating on special education law, elder law and special needs planning.
Previously, Beron was a hearing officer at the Bureau of Special Education Appeals in Malden. She has also worked for the state Department of Social Services in Boston and in private practice in Massachusetts, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
She has a law degree from Suffolk University Law School and a bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She lives in Belmont.
