A 109-room Homewood Suites is set to open April 18 in Berlin.
The four-story hotel, part of the Hilton chain, is the largest component yet to open of the Riverbridge development, which so far has a outdoor adventure course called Boundless Adventures and a commercial building opened last June shared by Red Barn Coffee, Village Cafe & Pizza, and Berlin Liquors.
A 204-unit apartment complex with seven buildings is planned.
The Homewood Suites was originally due to open last fall. It is being built and will be managed by Roedel Companies of New Hampshire. It is the second Homewood Suites to open in Central Massachusetts after the chain opened in Worcester in 2017.
Part of the Riverbridge site has recently changed hands. Cleveland-based NRP Group, an apartment builder, closed on 12 acres of the property in January for $3.5 million.
