Worcester's Beechwood Hotel is now part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts membership, a collection of 650 high-end hotels internationally.
The Beechwood Hotel is the only such property in Central Massachusetts and one of only eight in Massachusetts. The others are in Boston, Cambridge, Beverly and Harwich.
The hotel was already the only AAA Four-Diamond property in Central Massachusetts. It announced the news about joining Preferred Hotels & Resorts this week.
“As we continue to deliver an extraordinary experience in hospitality, we are thrilled to make this announcement that the Beechwood is now part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Family, offering our guests an even higher level of service with global access,” Sayed Saleh, the asset manager of the Beechwood Hotel, said in a statement. “Our commitment to providing every guest with a world-class experience for both business and pleasure is in complete alignment with the quality and values of the Preferred Hotel & Resorts Connect Collection.”
The family-owned hotel has 52 guest rooms and 21 suites.
