Two local colleges made a Princeton Review list for the top video game design programs at U.S. and Canadian universities.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute ranked No. 6 on the list, followed by Becker College, which ranked at No. 10.
The list was compiled by The Princeton Review in conjunction with GamePro media, which is video game magazine owned by Boston-based IDG. The magazine will publish a Top 50 list of game design programs.
The programs were evaluated based on academics, faculty, technology and career opportunities.
Correction: An earlier version of this story was based on last year’s announcement and listed the incorrect 2011 rankings for WPI and Becker.
