Becker to launch nursing, accelerated business degrees

This fall, Becker College is launching two programs that are structured around the changing, workforce driven economy.

Starting in September, students will have the option of completing the undergraduate business courses in three years, by continuing their studies through the summer. The restructured business program emphasizes navigating complexity, change, and disruption in the business climate, according to Sandy Lashin-Curewitz, a Becker spokesperson.

At the graduate level, a new master’s of science in nursing will also begin this fall, in response to a growing need for nurses with advanced degrees, according to Becker. Students in the program will be able to come to campus twice per term and complete the rest of the program online, Lashin-Curewitz said.
