Bay State Savings Bank of Worcester has hired three new assistant vice presidents, Alma D. Morey, Peter P. Rovezzi and Lisa M. Duquette.
Morey was appointed assistant VP and branch manager of the bank's location at 123 Auburn St. in Auburn. She previously service as an assistant VP and branch administrator at Hometown Bank in Webster and as a branch administration officer at Westbank in Connecticut. She has also worked in financial training at the American Institute of Banking in Connecticut and at Commerce Bank & Trust Co. in Worcester.
Morey has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern Connecticut State University. She lives in Putnam, Conn.
Rovezzi was named assistant VP and branch manager of Bay State's newest branch at 2 Eastern Ave. in Worcester. He previously served as vice president and banking center manager at Bank of America and regional sales manager at Commerce Bank, both in Worcester.
He has a bachelor's degree in social studies from Eckerd College in Florida and is a member of Worcester Local First. He lives in Worcester.
Duquette was chosen as assistant VP of operations at Bay State's Franklin Street headquarters. She has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and banking. She previously worked as branch manager at Webster First Federal Credit Union and as operations manager for Dean Bank in Franklin. She has also worked as assistant VP of operations for Central Credit Union Fund in Auburn, as operations assistant for UniBank for Savings in Whitinsville and as supervisor of account reconcilement at Shawmut Bank in Worcester.
Duquette has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Becker College. She lives in Northbridge.
