-Worcester Freight Trains, a reference to the city’s past and present operation of locomotives, submitted by Jack Margoupis of Sutton;

-Worcester True Blues, a reference to Worcester’s pride and blue collar heritage, submitted by Kris Hart of Boston.
The new team will debut in the summer of 2014, bearing the winning name. Voting will continue through Nov. 8, and the winner, along with the team logo, will be unveiled in early December, according to Worcester Baseball. The winner will receive season tickets for life, a team jersey, and the right to throw the first pitch at the first game of the season.
