Worcester wealth management firm Bartholomew & Co. has been named as one of the 50 best places to work by Investment News, a business publication group.
The ranking, which is listed alphabetically, lists Bartholomew & Co. as the only Central Massachusetts firm in the top 50 “Best Places to work for Financial Advisors.”
Investment News partnered with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm and division of publishing company BridgeTower Media, to form the list.
The list includes 33 registered investment advisors, four independent broker-dealer advisory firms and 12 hybrid firms.
Employee engagement, staff communication and transparency in those companies was the main ranking factor, InvestmentNews said in a statement.
Last month, Thomas Bartholomew of Bartholomew & Co. was named by financial publication Barron’s the 11th best financial advisor in the state in a list of the 1,200 best in the country.
Bartholomew, the president at the firm, manages assets of $1.9 billion with a typical account of $1.3 million. The typical net worth of his clients is $3 million, according to Barron's.
The firm could not immediately be reached for comment.
