Bartholomew & Co. acquires Auburn financial planning firm
Worcester wealth management firm Bartholomew & Co. has acquired Auburn financial planning firm Newton Financial.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Newton Financial owner Ronald Newton will work with Bartholomew as a consultant during the transition. Former Newton Financial employees Sunshine Marsh and Sharon Naughton will join the Bartholomew team.
Newton’s Auburn office space at 319 Southbridge St. will remain for the convenience of the firm’s clients. That office will become Bartholomew’s fourth location.
The office is the second location added since October, when the firm opened a Bedford branch. The firm also operates a Chatham office.
