Two Central Massachusetts wealth management professionals are among the top 10 in Massachusetts and the top 1,200 nationally, according to financial publication Barron’s.
The rankings, printed in Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal, list Kevin Grimes of Grimes & Co. in Westborough at No. 7 and Thomas Bartholomew of Bartholomew & Co. in Worcester at No. 11, out of 30 financial advisors in the state.
Grimes, president and chief investment officer, handles total assets of nearly $2.3 billion and a typical account of $3 million with the typical net worth of clients at $11 million, according to Barron’s.
Last September, Barron’s ranked Grimes 27th in the nation, but he wasn’t listed in last year’s state rankings.
Bartholomew, president at his firm, manages assets of $1.9 billion with a typical account of $1.3 million. The typical net worth of his clients is $3 million, according to Barron’s.
