Patrick J. Dempsey has stepped into the role of president at Barnes Distribution, a business segment of Bristol-based Barnes Group. Dempsey has been with the aerospace and industrial components manufacturer since 2000 and will replace Idelle K. Wolf, who is retiring. Dempsey has an undergraduate degree in engineering technology from the University of Limerick and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
