Bankers Association Gives $122K To Charity

The Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation has awarded $122,000 in grants to 30 nonprofit agencies across the state, including four in Central Massachusetts.
The Boys & Girls Club of North Central Massachusetts in Leominster, Daybreak Resources in Worcester and Pernet Family Health Services Inc. of Worcester each received $5,000 from the association.
Daybreak is an anti-racism and women's empowerment program of the YWCA of Central Massachusetts.
MetroWest Outreach Connection in Framingham received $1,500.
The association represents 200 member banks. Since it was established in 1996, the foundation has given more than $1 million.
