Bank of America will donate $100 to the Worcester County Food Bank for every BoA employee in Central Massachusetts who receives a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot before Jan. 31.
The program is part of a national campaign in which Bank of America has pledged to donate up to $10-million to local food banks, according to the press release from Thursday
The $100 donation per boostered employee is the latest in a series of incentives Bank of America has used to ensure a vaccinated workforce. In 2021, the institution offered paid time-off and $500 credits towards health benefit premiums to encourage COVID-19 vaccine compliance.
“This incentive program is a dual investment in our community and teammates, supporting the overall health and wellness of the region,” said Edwin Shea, president of Bank of America Central Massachusetts.
