Avidia Bank, headquartered in Hudson, is renovating its Main Street location into a full-time corporate office center and moving those branch operations to its financial center just down the street.
Construction to remodel the Main Street office will begin early next year with completion scheduled for April.
The project in Hudson’s thriving downtown district calls for space for additional business partners, flexible shared workspace for employees and more community-centric spaces for workshops, according to the bank’s website.
“We will continue to have a strong presence on Main Street, and we need to make room for future expansion as well,” President and CEO Mark O’Connell said in a statement. “While our Main Office may look a little different on the inside, you can expect that same support for our community, customers and businesses.”
The Financial Center, at 17 Pope Street, was renovated by Avidia Bank after Citizens Bank vacated the property in 2016.
Drive-up services at the Main Street location will be discontinued after April. More teller spaces will be added at the Financial Center.
There are also plans to move the branch at 221 Washington St. to a new location across the street in 2021.
